theres this thing that (mostly sheltered white) ppl new to radical stuff do where they just dont wanna take any risks at all
like saying "direct action is a bad idea because we don't have the capacity to ensure everyone is perfectly safe" is a take im hearing a lot recently and it's the sort of take that someone who has never had to risk anything to survive would say.
Like poor ppl are doing dangerous violent crime or breaking their backs in shitty jobs just to survive. Yet these sheltered "radicals" dont wanna put even their pinky finger on the line to help, even tho they're in a socioeconomic position where the risk is relatively low for them
