     @cnx @captainepoch you don't really get friendly raids to or from owncast, nor much in the way of organic discovery. twitch is just where streaming happens and everywhere else is comparatively crap.
     
     (i have done a couple owncast streams.)

     @icedquinn, if it’s only for streaming, there’s also Owncast. TBH with PeerTube 6.1 transcoding no longer necessary so it’s quite possible to host at home as well. @captainepoch, you can set up Wireguard between your home compooter and a public one and reverse proxy it from there.
