Have I dramatically misapprehended the average age of fortnite players? Are they all at least a decade older than me?

Comfort and fun are peasant values. Pop music characteristics (something I can dance to). The fineness of the reportedly less-pleasant thing is still obvious. The point being that even slightly above-average radio rock from the '70s or '80s is as far beyond old-timey murder ballads and pub songs as Gregorian is above radio rock.
As for the rapacious women, I have to say as a longtime owner of flash bikes and sports cars, I have never known women to notice them. If you're telling me a Ferrari is finally gonna get me noticed I'm applying for the loan tomorrow.

@ACL9000 @AmonMaritza @epictittus I have it on excellent authority that a Ford Mustang (GT500) is both more comfortable and more fun to drive than a Ferrari.
The only benefit is with the Ferrari you'll have a greater number of rapacious women clawing at your balls.
I think the food analogy holds up better for this purpose 🤔

@ACL9000 @epictittus I mean, I do understand the appeal, but comparing that to well-performed Gregorian chant is like comparing well-prepared dive food to a Michelin-star preparation of a bison steak with a perfectly-prepared peppercorn sauce and lobster Mac and sauteed mushrooms.
It's a night-and-day difference in quality.

One day we'll get back to real music for its proper purpose. When it happens, Metallica will be as forgotten as the purpose and meaning of perforated bars made of animal bones in prehistoric graves.
