     @Jean_Philippe_Micheaux @DW2 Yeah, a war that started between two non-White foreign nations, fought under a ridiculous and slanderous pretense, and against a severely weaker enemy who was barely recovering from a brutal decade-long war is not what I would call "peak".

     @SuperSnekFriend @Jean_Philippe_Micheaux You could argue that it was the peak for the ruling class. Remember that 1991 was the same year the USSR imploded. China was still a third world backwater. The “End of History” was published around this time. It looked like GloboHomo would have no challengers for far into the 21st century.
     
     Obviously for normie Americans its been all downhill (with relatively brief reversals) since the Civil Rights/Hart Cellar act double whammy of 1964/65. Although 1991 was much better than the mess we‘re in now.

     @DW2 @SuperSnekFriend @Jean_Philippe_Micheaux I think the 1980s was a slight bump for the working class in that they finally stabilized in the suburbs they had been run out into from the cities after the racial purges, the stagflation ended and after the volker reset houses were fairly affordable.
