     @kaia@brotka.st It's honestly not that hard to get a lot of likes on your fics. A lot of it depends on the size of fandom and the tropes you use.

     @kaia@brotka.st There was a post on tumblr I saw that literally showed a guide for how to farm kudos on ao3.
     
     Despite neither FFN nor Ao3 having an algorithm as long as you manximize tags, use common tropes AUs (Friends-to-Lovers, Coffee Shop Au etc) and avoid ratings higher than Teen then you can have a popular fic.
     
     I dont like that post cuz I think writing fics are a hobby and I dont want to turn these sites into another monetized dopamine factory like the rest of the Internet.
     
     I personally love when ppl are silly with their fics and I like it when ppl keep it fun and not take it too seriously.

     @Weeble agreed! I saw a lot of AI assisted ones lately and hope it does not destroy the entire hobby. robofics are sad mush
