   I really like #ZorinOS, and I'd love to be able to recommend it to new Linux users!

   But on my moms laptop it does not have any sound. And now I had to install Chromium (because fuck DNB, Norways largest bank that just won't let anyone log in with Firefox for a week because why fix bugs, amirite?), and in that app the input was set to English, even though she only has Norwegian input system wide...!

   Computers was a mistake. Let's go back to counting on abacuses.

     @forteller Why am I not surprised to learn that in the > ten years since I last time I wanted to run Linux as an everyday OS, sound is still an issue.

     @Izng Haha. I've installed quite a few different Linux distros on quite a few pc's, and I can't remember having much of sound issues on any of them the last ten years, except for this.
