   @justafrog @hannu_ikonen Even if you’re not directly effected by storms every year your food supply will be disrupted. (Floods, hail, drought, a hard freeze after a warm spell can all spell catastrophe for crops and let’s not forget the loss of bees and other pollinators.)

   There are ways to mitigate some of the impact, but we’ve got to stop overheating our planet.

     @hannu_ikonen People absolutely need to know that nowhere is going to be safe.

     Non-survivable heatwaves, tornadoes, flood-inducing rains, long droughts, hail bombardments, all of that will happen in more places than ever before.

     And you can definitely say that some things will happen more often in some places, but non-survivable weather hitting only once every three years or so still makes it hard to stay alive.
