   I've been with @LWN since -- I think 2003? I think it's the best, maybe only trustworthy, archive of what is going on in the open source/free software world, one that's been going for ages. I'm paying for my subscription.

   But I simply hate how much the commentariat has dwindled to a small number of extremely contentious people who don't seem to be interested in the issues at hand, but only in catching flies of each other.

   I think I might have blocked every regular commenter by now.

     @halla We're not pleased with how some of those conversations go either. Suggestions on things we could do to improve the situation are more than welcome!
