   Literally every girl I've tried watching Blade Runner with was bored out of their mind.

     @nav@maid.army I think Bladerunner is a very hard movie to people who don't "get it".
     
     While definitely containing sci-fi I feel like it is more accurately describing as a cyberpunk nior movie rather than sci-fi.
     
     You also have to really read in to the symbolism of everything that is shown on screen. Everything that might seem random, odd or wacky in this movie is actually done deliberately.

     @SuperDicq@minidisc.tokyo I tried watching that movie for the first time maybe about 6 years ago and found it to be the most boring movie I've watched in a long time and I like sci-fi
     
     The book was an improvement, but confusing. I still don't really understand the ending.
