     @mulad I'm glad that trains are improving I'm most ways. I would like to travel in one again at some point.

     I stuck around a few minutes after getting back to St. Paul, and counted about 185 people getting off.

     I'm seeing two different projected ridership figures, 124,000 and 232,000, and I'm not sure which one is right. The former would be 170 per train, the latter 318 per train...

     The train has a seating capacity of about 300 (4 coaches with 68 seats each plus there's a small business-class section in the cafe car), so reaching the latter number would require significant turnover (which can happen quite a lot with people using shorter segments)
