Lots of cool stuff on the way from The Left Fist!
As promised, I'm going to aim to produce shorter, more regular editions of The Working Week (to literally cover the week in wrestling) on The Left Fist podcast. I've been switching from Spreaker to Acast, which works directly with Patreon, so here's hoping for a smoother output for subscribers (with a bit of audio leveling and transcription thrown in too).
I'm also planning to add podcast editions of Industrial Dispute (on the calls to "fight forever" in a world of tiger drivers and medical staff lacking independence), as well as Past Practice (moving on to the WWF in 1991; you can catch the episode on 1990 in the archives!) And more interviews are being planned!
There'll be articles too! One I'm writing now is a follow-up to the piece about "picking sides" in the wrestling "war," now suggesting we can no longer do that (if indeed we ever could). Another looks at the sickly-sweet production that is WWE. And seeing as the article on Russians in wrestling was so popular (where it turned out several of them were from...Minnesota), I'll take a look at how so many of my favourite wrestlers (and yours!) were indeed from the state of Minnesota.
Again, be sure to subscribe if you're not already.
Power to the workers!
