    Attached: 1 image This is quite rare - the C root-servers are out of sync with the rest of the world by 3 days. Since that time there have been no changes in the root zone, except for DNSSEC signature updates. It appears all C instances (operated by #cogent) are serving an outdated zone. For now this has no operational impact, but that might change #DNSSEC

  @bortzmeyer @jpmens Meanwhile I was able to verify who has authority on the domain c.root-servers.org and it is delegated to Cogent, so there is definitely a mishap on their side :)

  Edit: OK, there's something: Cogent sells the IP block and forget to change the DNS records for c.root-servers.org (or the change had not been integrated in the parent zone yet)

  @shaft @jpmens Note that Cogent's rwhois server says the prefix belongs to "Orange Cote d'Ivoire" and, indeed, it is announced in BGP by this Orange african subsidiary (for four days, so it seems recent).
