I had to log on to Facebook this morning and saw a GenX meme I thought was spot on. It said:

If you ever wonder why GenX is the way it is, just remember our teachers hyped a Shuttle launch that then exploded as we watched on live TV. No counseling, no hugs or reassurances, they just assigned more homework.

I was a junior in high school when the Shuttle exploded and this is accurate. #GenX
