No housing ain't the only thing, but it's the necessary first step.

Stitch26 (stitch26@mastodon.social)'s status on Thursday, 23-May-2024 03:39:59 JST Stitch26 @adamconover I am really glad you posted this conversation! My husband & I have experienced varying degrees of homelessness for several years. We've been primarily "sheltered homeless" (in a shelter) or "travelers" (living in a hotel/other temporary living space that we pay for). We've been blessed to only be street homeless for 1 night & most of the next day. Good thing is, "Housing First" is getting more attention! Yay! Bad thing: Not the resources for travelers as street/sheltered homeless.
