this is the first time i’ve ever had to make an administrative decision on this instance, and i hope i don’t have to make more posts like this in the future.

it was recently brought to my attention that a user on my instance made a post about a month ago that appears to be in favor of rape and pedophilia.

these sorts of comments are, to be frank, completely unacceptable. i didn’t see the post until now (it was posted at 4 AM, so i was probably asleep) and upon seeing the report about it i immediately took action upon it.

while normally i’d have discussed with the user in question to ask what happened, said user had not posted or even seemingly been online for multiple weeks, so I simply banned them and deleted their account.

i am very sorry that this happened, and i will work to make sure that something like this never happens again.
