     @icedquinn yeah that is true, people willfully work on things like systemd too. I guess it's bad enough that nobody wants to work on it while simultaneously not being bad enough to weaponize

     @s8n :blobcatgrimacing: its getting harder to keep potterware off the box. more people are just wildly linking in to systemd and tossing their hands up like who cares if it doesn't work on BSD and the attack surface is the size of a barn, some barely useful feature is worth the hard deps

     @icedquinn That would still be proprietary and you would still end up with an utter garbage OS.
     
     You're better off installing GNU as it's functionality superior and you don't need to shoot government agents to use it.
