     This is the trap with all commercial software: it's simply great as long as it works for you, but then… They don't even have to go for something truly Machiavellian like selling your data — they can just fuck up the UI really bad a-a-and… That's it for you. There's nothing you can do about it!

     @sun@shitposter.world I'd rather use Linux even though every so often I get a bug where I must force restart my machine (but I'm on Fedora, so I guess it's par for the course since it's supposed to be somewhat bleeding edge - I think I had issues on Ubuntu though before). Most of the time, it works fine
