@voltrina post pruning seems to be the way to go for long term instance. i dont think pleroma was made to handle so many posts on one instance. postgres is also probably contributing in its own nasty way

*oma instances are disposable, you just get rid of them after a while and then create a new one on a fresh subdomain
this is partly because of the database rot and people not making backups before updating or doing something risky
