The wax gourd in the forest that you said looked like a squid!
They used to be raw squid, but when I went to the forest today, they were "grilled squid"!

1. Here is a picture of wintersweet with many interesting shaped berries on its branches. They look like little baked squid and are firmly attached to the branches.

2. Close-up photo of wintersweet berries. Squid? Or is it an octopus? Anyway those berries are brown and look riper than they did at the beginning of spring.
