@carnage4life my concerns about “AI apocalypse” have little to do with hyper-intelligent skynet and everything to do with executive teams gutting their own companies’ core capabilities, “learning the lesson” long after the people who were lid off have paid the price for it…

The user experience is much better but I’m definitely clicking on websites less. AI sadly creates many incentives to eat your seed corn and sacrifice long term health for short term wins.
Companies laying off juniors to rely on seniors plus AI is another example of this trend.
