   played through stray. damn that ending leaves me with a mixed feeling (which is good since it means the story arc worked its magic on me)

     beautiful game, looks great and also controls pretty well for the most part. the world is super interesting to dive in and reveals itself bit by bit.
     
     your companion, which allows you to understand the inhabitants of this world, also has a story of its own which you uncover bits by bits. and the fact, that the companion is so useful and is with you throughout your journey, you build up a strong bond and care for it.
     
     the inhabitants are also pretty interesting, even if they don't say much and most of them don't have any progression in character or the likes, the game manages to make them feel alive and be part of this env.
     
     yes, the game is short, but i feel its worth every minute of its runtime. the interesting environments, the urge to explore the society and the surounding areas from the perspective of a cat is very pleasing. that and the fact you can meow nearly at any point in the game, even in cutscenes :neocat_cute:

     there are a couple of things tho that i felt weren't that good, but those are super minor points. first, the game did have some stutters here and there, but those were pretty rare and usually only happened on certain loading areas.
     
     and second, the controls, altho pretty tight when traversing, exploring and when fleeing, aren't tight enough for some stealth sections when you need quick reactions.
     
     those are really just some minor nitpicks and don't hurt the game overall. its still a great game and i can recommend it.
