   Considering USA’s claim to love individualism, they sure spend a lot of money and energy trying to make people conform, uniform, and be uninformed.

     @JoBlakely I think "inidvidualism" and "collectivism" are unclear words that are used to lump a lot of opposing concepts and behaviors together, but if the USA was a guy, he would totally wake up every morning and say to himself "I am a maverick rebel who does everything my own way!" and then promptly go to work 8 hours at a job he hates. At most he might speed a little on the way to the office, but that would be the biggest norm he violated that day.
