   I don't think Fukuyama was "dumb" especially since his book was written in 1992 but by 1993 an expert should have noticed the rise of Islam extremism worldwide which when extrapolated should have called into question a secular future for most of the world. This isn't inherent to Islam but that was the trend. Over time there were "regressions" of some Islamic countries to more conservatism.

     Islamization is overrated, actually. I really don't think that the Islamic world has any realistic imperial ambitions or world revolutionary goals

     @KuteboiCoder oh I just mean that over time more people were operating under a more conservative branch of it which undermined Fukuyama's theory, I am not extrapolating to Islamic world domination or anything like that. Just that, the world remained multipolar and liberalism didn't win forever.
