     @gamer did you get one of those :neocat_melt: i've seen some wireless mic kits with denoisers. i have a cheap one that has one of those (it adds a weird hissing though.)
     
     best ones i've used were like jbl tour ones have great noise cancelling in the headfoon, skullcandies were okay

     @gamer :blobcatthonkang: hm. sounds like its too sensitive. should clip on to your shirt near the neck and not pick up too much more than that general area.
     
     there's rnnoise on the laptop side, but a lav shouldn't be picking up keyboards

     @icedquinn@blob.cat yep i got a cheap one, it's acceptable but it captures my keyboard typing too, so it needs another layer of noise cancelling on the software side
     
     still better than the stock laptop mic, yet also allows me to use my usb dac without fnagling with the sound system/pipewire

     @icedquinn@blob.cat yeah, and i'm on the lowest gain setting so idk, maybe it's just overtuned to compensate for beginners and newbies using it
