   Did I mention that when I was at that anime show/convention thing recently, Urusei Yatsura had basically ZERO mindshare, I saw two pieces of UY merch. A shirt and a hand drawn illustration.

     @xian it seems to be very popular in Japan. I am guessing one difference is, in Japan people probably remember the old anime from TV.
