the funny thing is, it doesn't, in the end matter to the chain, if you have the keys, you can execute the transaction, so .. again beware of people saying they can or will do things "off-chain" .. because it's not happening in the eyes of the bitcoin sovereign.

@doktor their hope is to just make it a CBDC by buying it all up, but understand that doesn't fix their problem.

BTC was always going to be the CBDC.
Bros can cope with "but muh blockchain," these people own supercomputing clusters which will account for 51%+ of the chain the millisecond they add them in, they're just "robustness-testing" and trying to bleed retards at the moment.

@doktor that's whats hilarious though. how easy is it to make say, Xitcoin?

No, they're just going to bruteforce a "well ackshually, 51% of the network says you're broke and blackrock ackshually owns all the btc, too bad for you I guess, the blockchain is always right!"

@doktor that's completely missing the point.

Idk, how much "adoption" has any shitcoin had compared to the 2 acronyms your average retard can remember?

@doktor the problem is that a CBDC doesn't fix any of the problems they have.
getting worked up about CBDC is people thinking that somehow they've found a trick to escape their debt issues.
Lets think through what happens. The USG blows up the USD. Credit agencies mark Treauries as DDDDDDDicked grade. USD brings out crypto-treasures .. rating on them is ??
If agenices try to claim they are 'AAA' then entire system implodes because people just took trillion dollar haircuts on USG fucking them and no-one believe they are totally on the up and up.
If agencies give it a C, then borrowing costs are still astronomical.

What point?
The USD is being feathered towards worthlessness, the groundwork for a CBDC has already been laid by BTC (along with BTC having "brand recognition" which is 90% of what is needed for adoption), and the legalese bullshit to criminalize "competition" with "approved products" is already there.
Hell, criminalization isnt even needed when all you need to do is switch supercomputing cluster B from TOTALLYLEGITCUMFARTCOIN to ILLEGALNAZICOIN and dump it after taking the chain over.
