Important to note that Bang Chan has excellent form when choking Hyunjin, using the method generally considered safest in the kink community
(There's no 100% safe way but some ways are safer)
Also important to note that I.N was later filmed choking Seungmin with similarly good form during behind-the-scenes footage from Thunderous M/V

Side note: look for the behind-the-scenes videos from Red Lights making-of. Bang Chan & Hyunjin say & do some interesting things.

Some of the being-all-over-each-other is probably fanservice that they turn on for the cameras.
I do not have fixed opinions on whether it happens more frequently or less frequently when the cameras are off.
Theory: some of the handsy stuff is misdirection. There may be legit offscreen stuff happening too, but we don't know who's involved or what they do because of all the pretending they do in front of cameras

@inoru_no_hoshi given the varying levels of acting skill within the group, I don't think they're all good enough actors for all of it to be fanservice *only*.
I'd be surprised if it's all real, but suspect that some of it is. I do believe that each one of them is extremely fond of the other 7. And that the fondness is often not entirely platonic.

@lookitmychicken there's too many moments of what seems deeply genuine to my autistic ass even in the small amount of lore I've consumed for there not to be a lot of real in with the skinship. ... also "bite as love language" is so valid 😂😂 (I will concede that can be both familial/platonic and romantic tho.)
