     like what if copies of the encyclopedia brittanica had come with the disclaimer "please check entries for accuracy"

     historically this would have been very justified, but. not helpful.

     it's a meaningless statement in a world without access to the high quality and verifiable sources of information that search engines and the internet have provided

     the ai tool that is replacing the web wants you to check responses for accuracy. check responses for accuracy with WHAT? what tool do you suggest i do that with?? a hard copy of the encyclopedia brittanica?? a time machine and access to a pre-ai google??
