   Holy shit is forklift certification really a thing? I thought it was just an internet joke this whole time. I'm now learning its a real thing.

   Years ago when I had to operate one, we had like a 30 minute annual training and then we were free to destroy the place.

     so you can either certify each individual or certify the corp and just make sure the training materials match the standard for insurance purposes?

     I mean if they have to pay more insurance for a larger workforce or even add-ons like union contracts they’ll do more compliance and certs to cover their ass and lower premiums. I mean to keep you safe, yeah that’s the ticket. :3

     I drive one and I just got trained. They're also supposed to do a renup on the training but I have been here four years and only saw them do it for two people and then stopped cuz they can't get their shit together. I wonder if the forklifts you need certs for are the construction kind? but I def drove some in landscaping and never got certified
