   Looking through YouTube for #Patlabor videos and the search results makes it look like some kind of a badass mecha action #anime.
   
   Meanwhile for 80% of the story the characters just sit in the base and wait for something to happen or get into very stupid misadventures, or they do get deployed and promptly fuck up and only somehow manage to get things sorted but with serious collateral damage.
