This is one of the reasons I know I am going to enjoy OCaml a lot. The modules available literally look like those available from LibC - which is great.
A language can be placed miles ahead of another if their standard library "feels familiar". This is actually something I also should give Python credit for - it's socket library just looks like LibC but for Python users (anyways, this isn't a Python post; calm down)
Many hours of fun are to be expected from this
