#EBU are -that- worried about pro-Palestine greetings from national hosts going off-script? What's next; not giving the artist a microphone in case they say something undesirable live?

@kfh I don't think they are, for inference the Norwegian presenter was a substitute because the original presenter withdrew just a few hours earlier. It does look like a satellite link delay.

@kfh I think they just try to cut down time. The delay is consistent with a satellite roundtrip.

@nafmo but the jury judged the competition earlier today, leaving a few hours to record the point giving. Not a single person has so far had any banter with the host in Sweden.
Doing high-quality video close to realtime is a pretty solved problem today, and I think it's weird that delay has increased this much from previous years, and be so consistent between the countries.
