I have become largely convinced that many Pig Empire leaders believe "two-state solution" is a magic phrase that forces critics to stop giving them a hard time, but otherwise has no material or functional value at all.

The "two-state" solution for Palestine/Israel was always a ruse based on a myopic fantasy by liberal Zionists that you can have right-wing settlers wanting full takeover of the Occupied Territories moving in and surrounding what are essentially Palestinian baustans, coexisting with the natives they would much rather kill to seize their land. The ascension of the Likud Right and the Kahaninsts to the majority in Israel's government ultimately rendered it useless.

@AnarchoNinaWrites "Two-state solution" rhetoric shows "good intentions" at best or is a euphemism for business as usual at worst, keeping the impression of intention alive and showing moral support, but doing little about it. It's all abstract and does little to remedy what is happening on the ground (the situation on Gaza being quite obvious, but the slow burn destruction of the West Bank being equally important).
