given the current trajectory of unique visitors to the nitter over the past two weeks, we will likely hit a million unique users by next friday or saturday. wish there was some ethical way to monetize that. thats a fuck of a lot of traffic but ethically i cant because it isn't right and also if i was it opens us up to legal issues from twitter or any person on twitter. i wish people who used services actually like, paid for them

for some context -- the night before least (because of a hardware failure requiring a replacement psu) we peaked over 580k unique visitors who didn't on several triggers trip the automated/scraping blocks. the server was absolutely pegged for hours like an America first supporter at his first afpac. last night it was at 580k two hours before peak but I fucked up and rebooted and that's when the power supply let go I guess. the fact there was 500k people on the poast nitter at once was crazy but then I realized people are posting it to 2-3m user subreddits. it's all over 4chan, even a bunch of links a day on twitter (???)
tldr I appreciate the help and please give me more suggestions and help because I'm running out of ideas

@graf As Fredrick the Great said -If you defend everything you defend nothing.
I understand that this has become a huge thing (success?) but at the end of the day if you are sinking a lot of cash and time into it with zero return is that sustainable? If you have no viable way to monetize the nitter is it something you want to keep doing?
I understand doing things like this because it is a big help to people but, at the same time alruism won't buy sausages.
Just tossing that out the Graf.
