I find it interesting how 1970s and 80s electronic ambient doesn't seem to have become "retro". It's just been around all the time, evolving, but not transforming into something different.

I played some Ixion OST today, and it almost immediately made me think of J-M Jarre (but also a lot of other SF games from the last 15 years; it's a lineage).
