This is so unimportant but it's taking up space in my brain so I need to move it on.
When the Met Gala interviewers asked TH what he found inspiring about working with Stray Kids, he said "they're as modern as it gets" and also talked about how successful & popular they are.
Not a peep about their music or about them as people.
I just know someone on TH's team told him that his designs weren't modern. He can't change his designs so he threw money at skz instead.

@lookitmychicken I can see why that would be an underlying motive in an industry — and especially an event — where being the new now moment is paramount. (And I also agree that TH isn’t that.)
And if I squint really hard, I can *maybe* grant that he *possibly* thought he was complimenting them in industry terms.
But damn couldn’t he at least have tried to make it sound like they weren’t a just commodity to him?
Bc that really wasn’t it right there.

Oh lordy I wonder if they gave him the line about the 40-city tour that skz are supposedly about to start, too.
Hard to believe that JYP would've authorized that, given the tour hasn't been officially announced yet. 😂
