@Griffith yes, it's sad and we're going to cause a lot of pain until that becomes obvious.
We're having problems making just normal drugs now.

@TrevorGoodchild @Griffith as I mentioned earlier, fogbank is an example of this.
The whole blindness associated with 'but we got 80" tvs, they didnt have that" is a very steep cliff to fall down.

@sickburnbro @Griffith This is why, while I understand concerns regarding nanobot swarms and bioengineered food with mRNA "in it" (lolwut), those are nowhere near the top of my worry stack
GAE-ZOG still hasn't managed a working hypersonic missile yet. And they aren't getting any better. Remember: once you lose the ability to make Roman concrete you don't get it back.

@MechaSilvio @TrevorGoodchild @Griffith you can get like a 90% solution for some of this stuff, but 90% is not nearly as much as the number would lead you to think.
I keep talking about the Canadian example of the AI bot that hallucinated company policies.
The whole "prompt engineering" goes to show how insane all this is - you don't need to "prompt engineer" someone who answers your phone calls. You tell them 'this is what you can answer, if it isn't that, you can't help them!'

@TrevorGoodchild @sickburnbro @Griffith AI and nanotech are both fake. Best you can get is Boston Dynamics shit, that might be impressive as a machine, but would not survive the combat adaptability of humans. Imagine thinking you can get the same in a microscopic size...inside a liquid environment.
BTW, Roman Concrete is so fucking back, some researchers figured it out a few years ago

@TrevorGoodchild @sickburnbro @Griffith And to think that in the 80s USA was testing hypersonic ATGM that could rip any tank apart with its sheer kinetic energy while USSR was working on fitting plasma generators to their cruise missiles
People don't really comprehend just by how much the technological progress has went to shit since those days
But hey, we have drones! (they're 90% chinese manufactured)
