I realized that I haven’t showed you all of my black hole doodles yet! This is probably the most recent one. I can tell because the shading makes the holes look more convincing, and that took me a lot of practice to figure out how to do that. Can you find the waterbear?

1. Painting of a surface of a fractal of holes that get smaller and smaller as they get closer to the square boundary. There’s a pink ooze flowing between the holes. The ooze contains various microbes including a waterbear with a head like a teddy bear, a bacteriophage, seahorse, diatoms, algae, and an angler fish. Standing atop the ooze is a goofy bird. A color wheel floats above the surface, and a single lizard marches into the largest hole.
