     @cell as far as I can tell my band doesn't even have a foreign currency accounts at all, unless it's a special request from a business customer or something, so mine's are in cash.

     @cell I have one (1) USD note but other than that no because if I ever need to pay someone in another country I just use Paypal which does the appropriate conversions automatically

     @vaartis USD deposits have higher interest than SGD deposits over here and banks are clamoring for customers to put in their USD with them :thinking_cirno:

     @cell you can set up a USD account here, but only as an investment opportunity that costs money in turn.

     @kaia oh? here all the major banks have multi-currency accounts but the amount of currencies offered is low (only ~12 or so) compared to stuff like wise or revolut :thinking_cirno:
     
     for fixed time deposits, seems like EUR rate is low (2.7%) compared to USD (5%) :kaia_think:
