     Mastodon would be the last on my lists of fedi communications platforms. The amount of characters are too sparse and Mastodon doesn’t support Markdown syntax. It’s more bulky than Pleroma or Soapbox. It’s not as beautifully crafted as Misskey and has way less features and too much bloat, than Hubzilla.

     I’ve done the Masto thing. I loved Misskey but it was a bit bulky but extremely functional, not to mention beautiful and advanced. However, I love the simplicity of Soapbox. I also have a Hubzilla instance, that’s really my favorite. However, Soapbox is so lightweight, that it could run perfectly happy, on a Raspberry Pi 3. That’s why I like it so much. Interestingly, enough, so could Hubzilla.

     You seem to be on Soapbox, Pleroma if you will. I’m running one of those too. I love them since they’re very lightweight and not hard to set up.

     That’s why I use them both interchangeably. I’ve set them both up and the only difference is that Soapbox is just a front end.

     @agentcasey @BillingtonYVR @fedilist Probably not good to use them interchangeably. Gleason's tweaked the backend some and has been screeching how much he hates Pleroma; he is a Branding Guy and doesn't really understand the backend stuff very well.

     Well I only tested the builds on ARM64 devices, however my production devices are more conventional. Oh, I knew what you meant by not using the terms interchangeably. I just like how Soapbox looks.

     The code I'm hacking on runs on small ARM devices too. (It's currently serving a big chunk of FSE's traffic and is only using about 15MB RAM.)
