I can't imagine anyone saying "bateria mi zdechła" when it runs out of charge. I guess "bateria mi padła" is something people say, but that's more of "my battery is down" than "dead".

@ellenor2000 when I say "this thinkpad has a dead battery" I mean its battery cannot be charged, likely due to permanent damage
