What a lot of people don't remember is that before #Google bought #YouTube, they had their own "Google Video" platform.

They had a service to publish automatically on a ton of different video platforms by just uploading to them once. Great stuff that I tried to promote a bit as a way to avoid monopolization of the video publishing space. I guess I didn't work hard enough on that...
