Cannot believe that here in the year of our discontent, 2024, I just saw someone who purports to be on "the left" arguing that "smash fascism" is not only not a good idea, but actually fascism itself. That was a pre-emptive snap block.

@AnarchoNinaWrites When I see posts like that, I always quickly check the profile, and without fail it's a tankie, someone calling themselves 'left of center' or worse 'centrist'.
People who always exhibit the hubris of calling themselves 'intellectuals' or free thinkers. And despite their centrism, they always only attack 'the left' while repeating fascist talking points.
