     @popcornreel Except that the Americanized pro-Palestinian protestors have surrendered to and adopted and are amplifying and expanding the same vile tropes and cartoonish Western frameworks of Orientalism that Edward Said lit up 50 years ago. The media only reflects the reality on the ground, and the reality on the ground is childish, ugly, lazy, dishonest, damaging, and ineffectual.

     I paraphrase what Malcolm X said in the 1960s: U.S. media uses propaganda to precondition and tweak the responses of white people in America to be against Black self-determination and the fight for liberation and justice. THE SAME IS HAPPENING NOW WITH PRO-PALESTINIAN PROTESTS.
