   I recently discovered that water will evaporate at any temp over 0 degrees, and not just when it starts to boil at 100 degrees. Was always so confused where the puddles went after a rainy day. I have PHD in meteorology.

     @fesshole sublimation is ice "evaporating." it doesn't go through the liquid phase, solid to gas.
