   Interesting question I never thought to wonder about:

   If I add a username in Alt-Text, is that person still notified?🤔🤣that'd be ridiculous, but we're on mastodon, where they expect admins to manually moderate hundreds of thousands of posts. So here we are, I'm asking.

     Hashtags seem to be ignored in Alt text but good question about tagging someone
