The house of representatives has passed a bipartisan bill today in response to widescale university protests protesting Israel and the United States' unconditional support of the country, which some of the protestor's claim is the result of foreign lobbying and corruption. The bill itself greatly expands the scope of the federal definition of antisemitism, which if passed would classify both my previous description, on top of any significant criticism of Israel, as well as several prominent bible verses as hate speech on almost every college campus in the country. When asked about the effectiveness of such a bill, and how they expect a bill this incendiary to quell tensions, Speaker of The House Mike Johnson replied "I don't know, the check I received in the mail, alongside the anonymous ransom letter made out of cut up magazine pages only told me to pass the bill, I'm sure when they want to complain about its enforcement they will send me another letter"
