@donaldh @cstross Me too, but then why would an oscilloscope need a casette player?
(also, a real oscilloscope would have a different set of knobs)

  Reading the comments on this toot and seeing how many people never saw one of these things in the flesh and think it's a VHS player or something or who remember their grandparents owning one is making me feel REALLY OLD.

    Attached: 1 image This thing talked it's way in to my life earlier. It's a sony fx-412 from the late 70s. It's a cassette boom box, an am/fm radio, and a tabletop television. Runs on batteries or 12v center negative DC. Does it work? We'll find out!
