     @Gargron please create a plugin that lets us make mastodon the controller that would treat our birdsite account as a shadow/mirror account.

     Ideally even letting us view birdsite replies from Mastodon. It would help in migration maybe.

     @Gargron I'm hemi-demi-semi-interested because I probably generate a lot of the reports of spam within .social anyway, but it looks like a thankless task wading through endless streams of illegal content, hatespeech and uncensored p0rn, so on an instance this size, I'm afraid I'd rather not, sorry.

     @Gargron I’m just checking out mastodon. Does mastodon have a way to sustain the costs if there is a significant migration from Twitter? If there’s a good article on this you can point me to I don’t expect you to give me a whole answer here but I’m curious.
