     @JordiGH the grid is just Tron right? it had plenty of cyan but the magenta must have come from somewhere else

     @JordiGH wow, how have I never heard of Automan before? I always attributed the car aspect more to Knight Rider but this seems like a much closer match

     @JordiGH the funny thing about Knight Rider is if you do an image search there's like ... mostly just one legitimate original image that uses magenta heavily, and then a bunch of modern fan art that really lays on the magenta thick

     I suspect Automan wasn't at all influential at the time, but much more influential in the nostalgia wave

     @technomancy You may be right about Knight Rider. I don't think Automan was very influential, but it was first.
